Overview
In accordance with the requirements of Procurement Policy Note (PPN) 06/21, Labrys Technologies Limited has developed a comprehensive Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP). This document outlines our baseline carbon footprint, our current emissions reporting, and the specific initiatives we are undertaking to reduce our environmental impact.
Our Strategy
As part of our commitment, we have set an interim target to reduce our total organisational emissions by at least 50% by 2030 against our 2024/25 baseline. Our strategy focuses on a low-carbon growth model, prioritizing:
- Continued optimisation of remote-first and hybrid working practices to minimise commuting.
- The reduction of business travel, utilising virtual delivery as our default and prioritising rail over air travel.
- The adoption of formal low-carbon travel policies.
- Ongoing review of cloud services and digital tools to improve energy efficiency.
Reporting and Compliance
Our Carbon Reduction Plan is reviewed and updated at least annually to ensure it remains relevant and accurate. It is approved by our board of directors to demonstrate a clear commitment to emissions reduction at the highest level of our leadership.
